karenori'm mostly packed...my cds are mostly done...i managed to avoid most of mom's freakout. but did get the priceless "you're driving to SEATTLE!!!" and to my dad, "did you know she's DRIVING to Seattle????" and my dad's reply was equally priceless, "stop it already, let her go where ever she wants to go. wherever she goes is fine." my dad rules.
and i got a little quality time in with my nephew. and by this i mean cleaning up the marker marks that he scrawled all over the hardwood floors. he has a cold tho, and was cranky. but he leaned in for a kiss when i kissed him goodbye. which warms the cockles of my heart...whatever cockles are.
my new purse doesn't have an secrety zipper compartments. i almost schlepped to target to get a new one, but didn't have time. i'll make do. its like a mini backpack kinda thing, which i figured might be easier to lug around all the time, cuz i can wear it on my back. but its super heavy already and i haven't even put my camera in. oy.
still a lot to do tomorrow, but mostly car stuff. i guess its good we're not leaving till 3 pm.
so this may be my last post for a while...i'll try to update from the road if ever possible.
