karenormy school raised tuition AGAIN!!! $1,128 per semester for full-time (6.1 units or more) grad students. this may be cheap to some of you non state university people, but another 120 someodd dollars is a HUGE raise in tuition. FOOEY. i'm not telling my mom till i get back from my trip.
also, the scramble for classes has begun. There are ONLY 8 english grad classes offered. there are ONLY 18 seats per class, and almost all of them are required classes. Some of them are down to 16 seats left already, and my registration date isn't till monday! someone's got priority....if my classes are full....oh god, i will be so beyond peeved. i so don't want to deal with the beginning of the semester begging to add thing that i have to do every freakin time. they're way strict in class limits in grad classes too. at least the undergrad class i wanna take is still totally open. oy.
