how WEIRD!

ok, apparently, portions of LA were hit with hurrican level rain. 5 inches in 2 hours. here it sprinkled on and off in a sunny sky for about that long. nothing approcahing heavy rain whatsoever. now L.A. may be a big city (distancewise) relatively...but that's just really weird. the airport closed down...people trapped in their cars, hail, etc. and i didn't even take an umbrella to school. glendale, burbank, north-hollywood were all hit hard, apparently. and those places are in the valley, where i live. 5 miles away about... at least noho. strange pictures on the news... nonstop lighting etc...

i didn't realize how big of a DEAL it all was. i just thought it was normal rain.

i know. isn't it weird??? i was like it was pouring? where? when? who says? then i saw the pictures.

tracy and cheyene and i stayed talking for like an hour after class tonight. it was odd. and kinda nice. what a strange class, too. did i make a fool of myself? do you think leilani hates me now?
