1. Open your mp3 library (ex. ITunes, IPod or any other MP3 collection with shuffle)
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press Play.
4. For every question, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question, press the Next button.
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool.
7. Don't skip songs.
Opening Credits: Sooner or Later (Jane Wiedlin)
Waking Up: 3 Times and You Lose (Travis)
First Day of School: Easy to be Hard (Hair Soundtrack) [wow this is setting up to be pretty accurate, if depressing]
Fight Song: Even Song (Gomez) [My favorite Gomez song and they didn't play it either time I saw them. hmpf. No wonder it makes me fiesty.]
Breaking Up: La Pared (Shakira) [It means "the wall" apparently. And look at me NOT skipping a song to pretend to be cool. I like Shakira. Depending. And it is a pretty good breakup song. I think. My spanish is shaky. Or Shakira-y, hah]
Happiness: With Every Heartbeat (Robyn) [Happiness? This song does NOT make me happy. I only have it because it's on a compliation, and it's godawful. She sounds like an even worse Kate Bush. ick. A sample of the lyrics: "We're still dying with every step. We could keep trying but things will never change, so I don't look back. And it hurts with every heart beak." This meme has now failed my expectations of being scarily accurate.]
Life's Okay: Catalyst (Anna Nalick) ["LA life never shined quite as bright as in the movies."]
Mental Breakdown: Disconnected Child (Tin Star) [woohoo! Now that works. This meme is back in my good graces. And, if you like dancey electronic music with a bit of heart in it, go pick up this Tin Star album.]
Driving: Sally Maclennane (The Pogues)
Flashback: So Are You To Me (Eastmountainsouth)
Getting Back Together: Eco (Jorge Drexler)
Wedding Song: Catch my Fall (Billy Idol) [heh]
Birth of First Child: Silver (The Pixies) [scary, but..."in this land of strangers / there are dangers / there are sorrows..."]
Final Battle Scene: Half Life (Glen Phillips) [this made me cry the first time I heard it (it was live)..."it's your decision now / give love or just get out / don't be another half life in this house"]
Death Scene: Here Comes Your Man (The Pixies) [Bwaahahahahahaha!]
Funeral Song: Anorexic Beauty (Pulp) [omg, meme, you FAIL! In point of fact, the next song would have worked SO MUCH better, Dave Matthews, "You Might Die Trying." heee.]
