They lied on the dvd boxset insert. There is NO commentary for LOTL with DT, FA, and JB. It's a freakin LIE. It's the same commentary that was on the website.

That commentary alone was worth like 10 bucks of this exorbitant price I paid cheerfully for 13 damn episodes.

*fumes*


ETA: and while i'm griping, an advert on every disc is a bit ridiculous. Also, i'm not a huge fan of the Paradox!Tardis being the menu background either. So there.

ETA2: I've sent a strongly worded letter to 2entertain. Which i pretty much never do. We'll see if it yields results.

One question for you: who's actually on the commentary for The Lazarus Experiment? I only ask because Amazon lists David and Mark, who I didn't think did a commentary.

Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! They weren't slated to have done the commentary as of the DWM breakdown. I am very excited, and this shall likely placate me until such time as 2entertain or the BBC can repair the situation with the LotTL commentary!

Oddly enough my dvd boxset has that commentary... the one of LotTL with DT, JB and FA but doesn't advertise it. it says that it only has JB and FA so i was pleasently surprised rather than the other way round.

They've made other mistakes too, like saying that The Runaway Bride only has DT doing the commentary when in fact Julie Gardner does it with him.

Yeah it was a US-only deletion. Something to do with the rights to the hummed banjo tune. LAME.

Mine has that mistake on the TRB commentary too. I was all excited because I thought it was new, but I heard it way back when after the episode aired. I didn't think DT would do a commentary alone, but I'd hoped.

tell you one thing that disappointed me though - the complete lack of In-Vision commentaries - I loved those! especially the doomsday one!... ah well maybe next season.
