and in other news...it is a quarter to ten at night and this is the first time i've been online all day. yay for me. i did the so cal thing and went to the beach. this after getting like four hours of sleep. last night i went to these two snazzy bars, one in hollywood, one in los feliz...and i just don't get it. it's so not my scene. i like our cozy Pineapple Hill Saloon and Grill, which is pleaantly white trash, yet tolerable cuz they have nice waitresses, decent food, free popcorn and a delightful jukebox. anyway, the second one was called "Bigfoot Lodge" and was all decked out like a cabin in the woods, tho they spun like 80's new wave and/or punk jams. plus they let ppl smoke in there (big L.A. no-no)...it was super weird. Anyway, we were there till closing time, and then i didn't get home till like 3, then was up too close to dawn cuz my family is freakin loud. then my friend and i went to the beach, but because i was a no sleep retard, i forgot all the stuff i was supposed to bring for our beach adventure...a blanket to lay on, cards to play with, my book, and a lanyard i'm working on. la la la. it was still fun. and i even went in the ocean some...up to my knees, like. well i wasn't wearing a baithing suit. I happen not to own any of them. I also don't have much in the way of shorts. i was wearing capri denim leggings, which got sufficiently soaked. it was still fun. it was, however, very hot there. which if you know anything about where i live (The Valley) in relation to the beach, you'd know it means it was absolutely sweltering on this side of town. i didn't get home till 5-ish today, and promptly fell into my bed to not move for three quiet hours...
