eh, gip. and fannish stuff.
Oct. 11th, 2007 11:46 pmi was trying something new, iconwise. sorta kinda. color and texture, yadi yadi. this image came from my quest to find good DT neck images.
Anyone else excited about the new Elizabeth movie? I think I may see it tomorrow. Haven't decided. I would like to see it in the theaters, though.
Secret Diary of a Call Girl stays consistent if not wonderful. I like a lot of it. I think they waste a lot of time with the emo moments. I don't need three full moments of plotless angst when the show is like 17 minutes long, people. But snarky 4th wall commentary rules. Billie rocks it.
Only saw half of Grey's tonight before someone bogarted the tv. No fair. I'm not particularly devastated. That show really only had the pretty going for it when it started. Now I'm kinda over the pretty.
I have much prettier things to occupy my time. *points to icon*

Date: 2007-10-12 05:52 pm (UTC)Yes, I squeed uncontrollably when I saw the preview for Elizabeth: The Golden Age on the opening weekend of HP: OoTP. I'm sure millions of Clive Owen fangirls cried out and were suddenly silenced, when they saw the rating of the sequel is merely PG13 - which means no naughty Clive, as opposed to the very naughty Joseph Fiennes in the first film.

Date: 2007-10-12 10:20 pm (UTC)It wasn't as good as Elizabeth to be sure, but it had a similar atmosphere. I was both starker and prettier... I was a bit saddened at the rating as well. Well, because the torture stuff...loses a bit of the effect when they're so restricted. I wonder why they did it that way. I can't imagine it garners a wider audience because of the rating. Unless you get like Jr. High kids going for history class or something.
