Attention Norcal residents
May. 26th, 2003 06:43 pmAll two of you.
i'm a wee bit obsessed with earthquakes. so i have this page bookmarked: http://www.scecdc.scec.org/recenteqs/Quakes/quakes0.html
that's a list of all recent eqks in california and nevada, that is, within the past few days, cuz it lists even the tiny ones.
There been a bunch of small but sizable ones in northern california (which maybe you already know).
so i'd be on guard for maybe a larger one on the way. I dunno about you guys, but its been earily quiet down here for a LONG time (i mean like four or five years with no middle of the night wake-up call eqks, when we used to have one or two or three a year) and i have a feeling something big is brewing. But at least we got us some good solid bedrock, while up there the soil is all loose and liquidy and dangerous.
so, just fyi.
