this weekend has been nothing but working and sleeping, and it's no where near over yet. i'm on the fith page of my 5-7 page theory paper, which is good news. the bad news is that i woke up at 6am to work on it (it was 2 pages, then). i tried to nap at around 11, despite the fact that my nephew was here, cuz i was totally a zombie. i didn't even sleep for an hour, tho. then from noon to 1 i worked, and now i'm futzing around doing nothing, tho i just want to get this paper DONE. cuz i have to finish my story today too...i need about 1000 words more...but i also need, oh, say...a PLOT. grr. i'm writing it in the voice of a teenager...its sorta an experiement. the thing is, where does writing in character cross over the line to bad writing? big problem.

after today, i never want to hear the words judith or butler or gender or identity EVER AGAIN. ick.

the i have so much to do freakout begins in earnest, monday morning...be prepared.
