karenoryeah, so, with my negative spare time, i'm still managing to power through Blackpool. I have only one episode left, and tho it's midnight, and i have to be up at 6am, i'm physically restraining myself from pressing the damn play button on it.
the singing is a bit much at times. when its clear it isn't too important to the plot (or when David Tennant isn't in the number) i'm fast forwarding. it's pretty distracting too when it's all emotional and they break out into song. the concept is a bit brilliant, but in execution, when in a drama like this that isn't otherwise over the top (i.e. moulin rouge or something), then i don't think it quite works.
and my god, DT is seriously almost too attractive to look at. he's like the sun, can't look at him directly. and his scruffiness is doing horrible things to my brain. he needs to be angry and intense in every damn performance he ever does. and then i need to get my hands on all of them. and also, the sideburns are a must. tho i may be willing to negotiate on that.
ok, so i'm seriously squeezing my own eyes shut at this post because i am so lame and i need to go to bed.
