ugh. i have been SO bad today. i spent about 2 hours with my family...took a 2 hour nap... i've still got next to nothing done on this paper. an intro. a big long quote, the start of an actual body paragraph...less than a page and a half. i've collected a bunch of quotes tho, and collectively, they make up 13 lines..another half page. i don't know where to put them. they're all from one book. i'm having the hardest time even getting ideas out. and i have no idea how they are gonna generate ten pages. if this were a 4 page paper i could deal. but i don't see how i can find enough to say...

and i wanna watch the oscars!

i think i'll just settle for steve martin's opening. i'm keeping away from the preshow, tho, showing willpower. they're still showing what ppl are wearing, without actually stopping to interview them.
