tv that doesn't suck

its sad how few good shows are on tv nowadays. yeah there is probably some that are decent that i don't watch, have never watched and never will. but by and large, i think everything i don't watch sucks. i can't stand 'reality' tv, contest tv, OC and its clones, all those law shows and crime shows and president shows and all that blah crap. so, given that, here are the only shows i plan on watching:

Desperate Housewives
Grey's Anatomy
Charmed
Gilmore Girls
Lost
Veronica Mars
Joey
Reunion
[and when they come back from hiatus] Huff and The L Word

Joey is a big maybe. since i have to download all my shows (with the exception of the abc ones, maybe) its often not worth the bother. Charmed will also be something i may not put forth the effort on. last season i waited till there were like 3 episodes left of it before i started downloading. of course, i had oodles of time back then, which i don't have now.

I'm also currently watching Queer as Folk season 2. I'm about halfway through, watching an ep every other day or so. these may have to go on the backburner to make time for my current shows.

i'm really only very excited about lost and veronica mars. of course they're on at the same time, but i don't even know what channel UPN is, so chances are i can't receive it with my bunny ears. hurray for bittorrent.

but i really miss the days when there like at least 5 shows that were REALLY good on like all the time.

and oh yeah. my flisters, if you're gonna talk about VM or Lost tomorrow night, please please please put everything under a cut. i won't get to watch them till late on thursday, at the earliest cuz i'm so freakin busy. and i'm so spoiler paranoid its not even funny. thanks. :)

See, the fact that I *hated* Veronica Mars, Desperate Housewives and Firefly makes me feel crazy. I didn't just dislike them. And I'm the only freaking one. I feel like I'm stuck in some alternate universe where everyone else thinks black is white or something. Aieeeee.

I've tried 6 or 7 new shows this season and they're all awful! If not for reality tv I would have nothing to watch.

sometimes i feel exactly that way because i HATE reality tv. like rally a lot. veronica mars took me a while, but i ended up really liking it. desperate housewives was...eh, something to watch with my mom. but now its kinda like, well, i need to know what happens, so i'll watch. if i were less busy, i'd watch this Invasion thing that's on now, after lost, but i have no patience. if i hear good things, maybe i'll check it out.
