Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em.

♥ - who doesn't love love? i like hearts as a shape cuz they are aestheticly pleasing, in other words fly (gold star to whoever knows what that's a quote from).
angel - this refers to the tv series. it was good. better than the show that spawned it in a lot of ways and for more time. i was very sad to see it in. it had good actors who were fairly hott as a rule. it entertained me.
carnivale - omg, so sad this show is over! it was intriguing, and pretty and grotestque and dramatic! and it had circus freaks! they so had me at midget.
death - it says "interests" not stuff you like. anyone who knows me more than a little probably knows i have pretty a little more than is usual fear of the big D. and i write about it. a lot. not in the like goth way, but in the like take me seriously as a poet even tho i'm writing about a topic that is (if you'll pardon me) done to death.
farscape - it keeps landing on shows! am i counting right? maybe i'm actually doing nine. eh. this show may actually be my second favorite of all time. yet i don't obsess over it as much as my other several top shows. there is too much greatness to list. i think what i loved best was that it was SO damn smart. and cuz it was a sci-fi show for chicks that didn't suck.
graduate school - because its my life. and so it must be an interest, right. i had a great time in my first graduate degree. whether i do in my second remains to be seen.
johnny depp - oh paleeze. i have to say exactly what interest me? hott. and eyeliner. hop like a bunny.
leilanni hall - i wanna be like her when i grow up. go find, buy, and read her book "Swimming the Witch"
me - well i'm pretty darn interesting. you're reading this aren't you? aren't you?
mountains - i lived in one valley my whole life, i live in another one now. i'm used to seeing them on the horizon. they're part of sky for me. and they are almost always beautiful, somehow.
pie - is the best desert ever. there are so many kinds, almost none of them bad. pie goes with everything, is fun to say, fun to get in the middle of the night, and great to share with friends. you can bond over good pie.
random acts of kindness - hmm. well. random is good. kindness, also good. its great to be nice for no reason. it makes people happy. it makes me happy.
sharp objects - are neat. why? i dunno. mostly i mean the pretty ones, swords, daggers, the like. weaponry today is so ugly. also, negative. right, which makes sense since they kill people and all, but there used to be such a thing as ornamental and/or sacred weaponry, and there is beauty in that. and irony.
tattoos (swords was next but i refuse to do that one. again) - well i like em. i have them. ink is good. i'm all for body mod. the Creator gave us our bodies and we are perfect, but while we're using them, we can personalize them, no? it like writing on your chuck taylors, eventually you just have to. only its more permanent. there are only a few things in life we can really control...
tori amos - she plays a mean keyboarded intsrument. she's whacky and cute. she makes me laugh and she makes me think and she has the best eyes. she's crazy and she loves you. all of you.
wind - probably my favorite weather phenomenon/force of nature. i can be so beautiful. it can be so destructive. i love its power.

Date: 2005-09-12 06:14 am (UTC)so true. and it's one thing i miss about not living with my family. my lil bro would go to marie callendar's and pick up banana cream pie and that chocolate silk pie and oh man, all four of us siblings and my mom would go to town on them. and i miss the egg custard pie my mom would buy at this one filipino bakery.
now i feel like eating pie. mmmm
