i heard this song in the bookstore today, and i loved it, and i knew it, but i didn't know where from. it seemed like something i must have obsessed over before. i made a note to look it up. turns out i have it. i have the whole album. i'm listening to it now, and its amazing. does this mean my music collection is too big? cuz i never thought so.

oh, btw. the song, The Decemberists: The Engine Driver.

the ONLY plus i can give my new school's bookstore.

I do that all the time. It's really embarrassing when I love a song, look it up, see who it's by and realise I've had that album for months, or years. Yeah.

I've never heard The Decemberists but I've heard lots of hype about them.

omg. i must yousendit you stuff!!!

in fact: The Engine Driver (http://s11.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=02V5TR5M5AXCB0PJ09NOJK9MKY) and The Mariner's Revenge (http://s11.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0KKGQJLSQB8MQ0B7POZN7JJN7X). Both from the album "Picaresque"

not to everyone's taste. i dunno if you'll dig it or not. Something in the story telling reminds me of Loreena Mckennit, but NOTHING in the sound. They're kinda like Neutral Milk Hotel, but they use accordians completely diffrently. i'm in love with this album.
