i bought three things at amazon. two of which were delayed. then it flipped around and the one thing that wasn't delayed got delayed, and one of the delayed ones stopped being delayed and was shipped.

this is a book by Leilani Hall (see interests), with cover artwork by awhiteshimmer. i suppose i could have bought it from other sources...direct from the publisher, from the poet herself, i dunno. but i figured it would be good to buy it from Amazon.

anyway, it was shipped yesterday. so i tracked the order. It left from Vernon, Ca. Then went to Nashville, TN. what the? why does it have to go there first instead of just coming to me. Now it just says US. it also says UPS. since when does Amazon use UPS??? i thought everything came by mail. i'm not gonna be home to get it. poo. maybe they'll leave it with the manager. its just one tiny book. i figured it would fit in my mailbox.

oy, what a hassle.
