-What inspired you to smuggle absinthe? And did you do that sugar cube stuff to it?

inspired me...well, the fact that it was pretty easy contraband...also, i was pretty curious as to the taste and the effects. as for the taste, well let just say 3/4 of the bottle still lives in my best friend's freezer almost a year later. maybe the sugar cube thing woulda helped, but didn't try it. i believe a friend of mine mixed some with sugar water (no fancy cube), but i don't remember if it significantly altered the taste.

-Do you have a computer desk (finally)?

i do not. i'm sitting crosslegged on the floor and my monitor, keyboard and mouse are all crammed on a tiny ikea table about 18" off the ground.

-Any fave guilty pleasure songs?

lots, but you didn't ask which ones. ha ha ha! ok, the worst one is probably that Alanis one where she says "posse"

-What colour are your fingernails now?

oh god, SO boring. a clearish light pink. job interviews, you know. but my toenails are a hotpink foil color...i believe lanewayne was with me when i bought the polish.

-Did you finish that purple homespun scarf?

i did not. it is sitting in a box with all my other crafty stuff under my bed right now. but i started on a blue one that is like...half done...maybe.

yay, thanks for answering my questions!

as much as i keep saying that i hate the taste of licorice, i still want to order a bottle of absinthe online. i'm trying to figure out if i should purchase a french brand or a czech brand or a spanish brand.

i recently saw the vid for one of my fave guilty pleasure songs of all time on vh1 classic. "pray" by mc hammer, which rips off "when doves cry". omg, so tacky!

hopefully, you finish those scarves!
