lj is schizo
Jul. 20th, 2007 09:07 amin comment notifications it is sometimes saying comment on your "post" and sometimes "entry". also, it no longer likes a username in quotes when you use the lj user tag. as of a day or two ago? is that just me? it kept giving me "badusername" errors whenever i used quotes. weird.
are they switching things about? again? things were down for a few hours the other day. day before yesterday. in the late evening, so midday for ya'll.
i feel oddly possessive over my lj. i mean, not just my journal, the whole interface. i hate when they change things, and it takes me forever to get used to the changes. i'm still not using tags, even tho i concede that they aren't a bad thing, really. they're especially useful in communities. i think i only used them personally like once.
still not a big fan of the "new" update layout. which is what like a year old? i'm used to it, tho.
eh. anyway. thanks for the responses to my HP query. Seems that a lot of you like the whole creating a different and interesting world aspect. Can't argue with that, I suppose. And of those who replied already, none are the squeeing OMG FANATIC! so i'm still wondering what about it engenders that sort of devotion (I mean, it probably wouldn't be easy to explain the reasons behind MY obsessions, i guess...). But thanks for the responses.
