i was surprised as well to have not read all of these books, or a good 90% of them, especially if they're so "important."

you've read more than 10%, cuz i've read like 25%, if i'm counting right.

as long as i don't need the info in the future, they're not important. the one time i felt that my lack of literature proficiency came up to bite me was in my 604 class. since most of the people in there were lit people, and dr. bartelt taught to them.
