omg, did you not know i was a ginormous highlander fan?!?!? i bought myself a christmas present of highlander season 2 on dvd today. i only had season 1 cuz they are sooo fareakin expensive. this was on "sale" for 58 bucks. highlander was the first show i was fangirly obsessive over. i still say its one of the most underrated shows EVAH! HtR was great for all the hottness, but less than solid otherwise. and i didn't much care for the nick guy (was that his name?) and the mythology tweaking.
you know me---i have a tendency to be hooked on shows with strong female lead characters. but i didn't like how the very last ep of htr ended. it was supposed to be like a twist or whatever, and i thought it was a lame one because nick sucked.
the first ep of highlander that drew me in was the one where joan jett falls off a building and lands on a car. i'll always remember that scene!
dude highlander season 1 was all about the hott chicks. all of Prince's early girls showed up. even when it was uber-silly (a LOT of season 1) it was still hott (ie, joan jett). eeep, now i wanna start watching season 2. but i'll wait till tomorrow...
