ok, i voted. yay! except i made a stupid mistake. i meant to vote against prop 62 and voted for it. oh well. i imagine my mom did too, but i caught my dad in time.

with the exception of president, i didn't vote for any other officials.

i KNOW you all went out and voted!

p.s. i didn't see any long lines, but maybe that's when i voted. about 9:30, so i guess after the morning rush. there were more poll workers than voters. and they showed us how to vote with the "new" ink push pin thingy (ink dot instead of hanging chad but otherwise the same). and they made us practice. i didn't have the heart to tell the lady that we used this same new system at the recall election.

the downtown san jose polling place had that darned touchscreen ballot. i swear, i must have triple-checked that thing at least five times before pressing "submit".

in california, anywhere where there was computer voting, they had to have a paper option as well. except most people i dont think knew that. but i agree. i think paper is better.
