I cried. I love Amy and Rory so much. I love the Doctor with them. I love emotional Doctor Thinking About Things. I love Brian.
I don't want it all to end. What do we have, one left?
As for the actual villain of the week? Well, I love that it was a villain of the week. Best thing about this season, so far. The arc is natural and subtle, and is ABOUT the characters we actually give a shit about.
Cubesblahblahiguesstherewasplot? Very predictable. I didn't mind or care, because that wasn't the point of the episode. It was all about the people, which I think is finally becoming the focus again (no doubt to break our fucking hearts).
Kate (was that her name?) was awesome too, and brilliant nod to the dear departed Brig, but I felt that was a little forced. I mean, she was awesome because she had a good line or two and the Doctor loved her. But it was rushed. Like this was meant to be a two-parter. SO much going on. I actually thought it would be, there, towards the end.
The passage of time is pretty interesting. 10 years for them (11 now? 11 + 7 weeks?) but not for Earth? When IS it on Earth now? They're just going to handwave that, aren't they, when it becomes time for it? Yeah, they are.
Whatever. DON'T LEAVE AMYRORY. ANDOR DON'T DIE. I can't handle it.
