Feb. 27th, 2004 01:31 pmso yesterday, after reading a hundred or so boring pages of introduction to merchant of venice for a test, my class was cancelled. bleh. i was mad. cuz by next week i will have forgotten everything. and this is the same class that was also cancelled on the first week. lameness.
so instead i went to my friend's show. she sings at this bar sometimes. so i went there and then went out after and neglected to tell my parents i was going out. so around midnight i check my phone and i have an angry voicemail from my mom (left at 10:40) saying "karen, where are you. CLICK" i wanted to call her back and leave her a message saying "mom, TWENTY-FIVE! click". as in i am 25 years old leave me alone you don't need to know where i am every freakin second. i was peeved. i understand, she's a mom, she worries...but she can leave a NICE message. you know something like "hi, karen, just wondering where you are, call us when you can, hope you're having a good time." is that too much to ask. i've told my mom before that she has absolutely no phone etiquette. its like she missed that day in how to be a human being class.
sigh...
i need a nap.
