our power went out

for about 45 minutes. i got all excited, hoping that we'd get to use candles at night, but no such luck. i was unfortunately working on making an icon that got lost. which sucks. but at least i wasn't working on a paper! well those usually get emergency saved anyway. thank goodness there are newfangled computers who start up just fine after losing power. don't even have to deal with that blue scandisk screen with xp....

off to school now. i still have about 30 pages of intro to merchant of venice to read...sigh...
