(no subject)

i saw the Matrix Reloaded. this isn't spoilery, just a few general comments...It was good, but the first one was SO much better. Sequels need to stand alone as well, which this didn't. and need to not just copy the glory of the original, which this did.

plus, there just a little too much computer animation for my taste, and it wasn't as flawless as i expected.

the story...well...more on that later, i don't feel like thinking right now. its got some big holes. i'll put those thoughts behind a cut tag.

i went by myself, mostly cuz the movie theater is about the last cool place on earth. its well over 100 degrees out. blech.

i've got good news, good news, and bad news

I have no jury duty, yet again tomorrow. 3 down, 1 to go

I got an A- in my Theory class, even tho i got a B and a B+ on my first two papers. I must have done ok on my last two.

I got an A- in my Narrative Writing class!!! This is the bad news. I am PISSED off. How dare she. You can't grade on your opinion of people's writing in a class like this. I turned in everything, on time, I participated in class. My last story is better than my first. That equals A. I think she just doesn't like me. My friend in the same class got the same grade, though she never spoke a WORD during in class discussions. WTF. i am very mad. I totally expected this to be an A. I worked my ASS off in this class. This is so unfair.

Those are my only two grades in so far...

so this party

it was kinda lame...

the one person i kinda knew didn't show up. but the chick that was throwing it kinda made an effort to come sit by me and talk to me, cuz she knew i felt kinda left out. everyone talked mostly about school n stuff, and it was kinda boring.

but everyone dispersed early, so it wasn't that bad. i mean, it wasn't horribly unpleasant either. it was just kinda odd. and after the sun went down it cooled off a lot and was actually pleasant out. i'm afraid their dog had fleas tho, and i'm allergic to flea bites. blech.

oh well. i did my thing and attempted to socialize with people i've known for less than a decade, which is something i don't generally do, so score 1 for me. still i wish i woulda brought my friend. eh, whatever.

i think i should just go to bed...i'm feeling very blah...
