my paper is up to a whopping four pages. i've been working on it pretty much nonstop since 9am. i have two quotes that are over 8 lines. is that bad? i've written on the marxists, the structuralists and have just begun to write on the formalists. so i have to fill that section up and write a conclusion. i'm aiming for 6 pages, the assignment is 5-7, so i could be kinda brief about the formalists if need be. i'm worried about the big quotes tho... also, i'm typing in arial, cuz it's bigger than times new roman, and i feel guilty abou it. but it's not THAT much bigger. also i'm leaving the margins at 1.25. fuck mla.

on friday, with my drunk friends (i wasn't drunk, unfortunately, i can't be) i declared quite simply, that "MLA makes me want to die". someone said i should put it on a t-shirt. i should! and wear it to theory class, or possibly graduation (you know, if THAT ever happens...)

i've spent more time looking up how to cite things than actually writing the damn paper. ugh.

like any of you care...

i'm almost done with the one paper i've been working on all weekend. finishing up the section on new criticism, and then i need a conclusion. it's already over 5 pages, so i'm in the clear. it might not make a full six, but it will be close.

so if i ignore my assignment for narrative writing, write 3 journal entries for theory a day, and write the other essay for theory in its entirety next weekend, i may actually make thru midterms for ONE class.

i still have my 10 page paper for medieval lit, due a week after the two for theory class. and i'll have to catch up on my stories too.

i have a feeling i'll be working straight thru spring break, jury duty or no, tori shows or no.

can't wait till casar chavez day. makes me wish i had more classes on monday.
