(no subject)

it is 3:11 in the morning. code for public nudity. semilame band as well. i should be a sleep. not asleep. a sleep. hah.

there was an "everybody hurts" moment on the freeway tonight, i still don't know why...but we were all stopped for like a half hour. it was fun tho cuz my friends were in the car in front of me. it was very odd tho. quite surreal. as used as i am to traffic (i live in l.a. hello!) it is so weird to be totally stopped.

i have so much to do tomorrow, it's scary.

my best friend told me tonight that i am spoiled and she would do anything to have my life. i offered a trade. she wasn't interested. i wanted to hit her.

it is SO time for bed.

I didn't get to bed till very late...which you can tell by my last post. it must have been like 4am... Then I'm woken up at 9 by construction noise...saunter out to the kitchen and find out about all this Columbia stuff. Apollo 1 and challenger both happened during this week in 1967 and 1986 respectively. The head guy in charge even said a few words on the 17th anniversary of the Challenger disaster commemorating those who died. it's very eerie. you'd think they wouldn't have missions that coincide with this week anymore...

my parents pay oodles of money every month to get an Israeli channel on their satelite. It's weird to watch the coverage from that angle. they were all so proud of their astronaut. he trained in Houston for 3 years for this mission. And India too, their astronaut was front page news.

all i can think is...thank god they got to go out into space first. i'm sure they'd rather be alive...but still it's something.

now how am i ever gonna get my story done with all this other crap swimming in my head...

hmmm

this is odd. i got a check in the mail today for $249. It's from my school...but i have NO idea why. There is no explanation. Perhaps it will come under separate cover. I my financial aid status online and it makes no mention of anything received for spring. I'm not complaining...really. But i have to tell my parents about it, and they're gonna want me to use it for books...when all i really wanna do is take it to Vegas next weekend. what a pickle i'm in.
