and on a higher note

ok, so i was really moody yesterday. the subject of war gets me very testy, and i agree with no one on either side and just makes everyone hate me. hence, my last post...

anyway, yesterday ended on an up note. First, my baby (that is, my nephew) Noah came over for dinner (he's here now too, but out for a walk with my dad). And at dinner, someone got the mail. And in the mail was my diploma. All pretty in a hard folder all official and everything. so even tho i've been done for a while, it made it official to my family. and my poor mom...the only adult in the house without a degree. anyway, we're going to Solvang (a dutch style village about two hours away) next weekend to celebrate.

then i schlepped my diploma over to Pineapple Hill (the little dive bar where my friends hang out) and showed it off. In honor of my accomplishment my friend bought me a fuzzy navel and insist we weren't leaving till i finished it. well with my allergies half a drink gets me quite tipsy, but i tried my best. i got a little more than half way thru it. In any case, we went out for donuts after and it was fun.

Then i had more weird dreams. They have been CRAZY of late. wonder what it means.
ok, gonna see if baby's back...
