almost there

i received this from the graduate secretary this afternoon:

Hi Karen, you have been admitted as a fully Classified graduate student in the M.A. program in English at CSUN, beginning with the Spring 2003 semester. We sent your paper work over to Admissions and Records this morning. They should receive it this afternoon. I am not sure how long it takes for them to input it into the system.

that means just one more step in the process. i HOPE!

you know, i've written poems ad nauseum...i've attempted to explain my character, my culture, my mind. and still no one will ever see the world like i do. they will never understand me. i will never cease being judged by the people i wish acceptance from, not ever. when good becomes bad, and bad is still bad where do you go? glen says "in these deaths, show us the light"...god i say...stop the deaths. but how?
