all my (and i laugingly call them "my") classes are full. Except for one. It has two seats last I checked. The English department STILL hasn't received my 1295 form, and I don't have a registration date. Not that it matters, cuz my classes are full. At this point, I'm just trying to get ADMITTED before school actually begins on the 27. I already have to crash all my classes and bank on the fact that 3 of the 4 teachers know and love me. I don't even know how strict they are on the maximum in these classes. I might just have to pray people drop.

My mom is gonna give me hell cuz I didn't call last week to ask about my file. I was TOLD to wait. But they never received this damn summary (1295) which should have been done WEEKS ago. Now I'm totally screwed and it so totally not my fault. Even if I had called last week, the classes would still be full. Maybe I could have at least registered for the poetry class (the one with two seats) because that will most likely be full today.

I am so bummed. This really is just horrible luck. My parents don't get it. They say "it doesn't make sense that you're penalized for their mistakes". Oh yeah, welcome to the University. Where Karen is continually screwed as much as possible, and not in the good way. grr.

Janaki, the graduate secretary who I emailed this morning said "I am sorry for the inconvenience but we still have not received your 1295 form..." sorry for the INCONVENIENCE! This is only my freakin life we're talking about. Financial aid is gonna be mighty peeved since I told them I was taking 12 units this semester and i may take none. arg.

Thanks. My mom thought I was at school all day dealing with this bullshit cuz my phone was unplugged due to a fax machine that likes to call me. just today i commented to myself how it doesn't seem to do that anymore (favorite time was the middle of the night) and lo and behold it disrupted my nap today. but i told my mom flat out that even speeding up the process now does me no good cuz the damn classes are full.

Parents are lame when they bitch to you about stuff they know little about. Mine were great when it came to that. (rolls eyes)
