interesting...
Apr. 25th, 2007 06:25 amThinkGeek has Doctor Who toys. Well, one. The sonic screwdriver. Which I recently bought from whona, for cheaper, so that's ok. But I found this bit on the page interesting:
Super Cool Note: The story goes like this: the prop made for the new series was small. Then this toy came out - it was bigger to accommodate the batteries - and the Dr. Who producers revamped the TV prop on a mold from this toy. So this Sonic Screwdriver is exactly the same size as the one Dr. Who uses on TV!
Which is odd, cuz I was sure this toy was too big. Maybe it's the Doctor's manly hairy hands. hmmm.
oh, also in their description: you can imagine how we danced with joy when we saw this Sonic Screwdriver set. Ready to handle a Time Lord's tool?.
heee. I heart ThinkGeek.
anyway. GEEK LOVE! YAY!
um, yeah. It's Wednesday, forgive me.
