karenorI broke down and watched the first ep of this season's Doctor Who Confidential. I was scared of spoilers, because i know the DWC's often blend in a lot of footage from other episodes and the people discuss things from the future.
Mostly it just stuck to the first episode of DW, though. I know a bit more about Martha's character than I care to, but hopefully that will be pretty evident early on (it sorta kinda is), and it's not really spoilery. I closed my eyes when they started montaging at the end, and finally ended it early so i wouldn't see too much.
i should really just not watch these things. but temptation is painful sometimes.
haven't watched Totally Doctor Who yet. should i? i know there's some pretty DT...
in other British Television news. I watched the new ep of Life on Mars. This show is both ridiculously frustrating and kind of marvelously ingenious at the same time. they don't make the mystery the WHOLE show like it is in a show like Lost or something. They keep it real enough so it doesn't float in the ether. It has it's own logic, even within the mystery, where kinda anything goes. And every so often they tweak what's established, making it more intersting. And the grand arc of the show is mimicked in microcosm. I love how you can't ever quite figure out whodunit till they do and it's always way late in the episode.
one of these days i'm going to make some icons of that show. sigh...
