omg. i know NOTHING about icon making. what's all this about layers and brushes and whatnot? i SO don't understand. i thought my simple animations were pretty spiffy, but when i see what other people do, yikes! i can't even really make text work right.

sigh...i should be reading for poetry class anyway...

I totally hear you. Believe me, I am in the same boat! Do you use PS7 or PSP? I use Photoshop 7 so I have a ton of tutorials bookmarked. If you use PS7 too I will email you a bunch of links 'cause it'll take me a while to gather all the stuff together.

i have photoshop 7, but i just recently acquired it. i've always been a paintshop kinda gall, but the update for 7 to 8 has me a little confused. but i guess everyone uses photoshop, so i guess i need to get used to it!
