karenorMUCH better. layout is SO much easier on my eyes now. Same picture, just darkened, like a nightscape. The image is still visible, but the color isn't as bright and the contrast between sky/notsky so painful. i played around with it a lot, my first impulse was to lighten it, rather than darken, but i like things dark. :)
i still wish i could find a way to make the text transparent but still have the color boxes around people's icons. but they may clash with the background. i'll have to colorize more people's names. i only had a couple colorized when i would run out of color box colors i liked... at least on the new bg i can actually read my friend's names...oh i have to change my visited links color too, cuz its dark purple (default, i guess) but it gets lost in this bg).
