ok, so i got back my oral presentation grade in linguistics class. it was out of 50 for the presentation itself and 50 for my comments on other peoples presentations. so i got 48 out of 50 on my presentation (i was shocked, good shocked). all the comments are positive, so i don't really know what i did wrong. on other ppls presentations, i got 46 out of 50, he said i had substantive comments on all but one of 14 presnetations. i was shocked there too. so that is 94 out of 100 points. and i have 94 out of 100 points for my first presentation and quizes. which give me 188 points out of 200 possible not including the final paper. the final paper is worth 100 points. for 90% in the class, i can get no lower than an 82 on the paper. which means, i think, my chances are pretty darn good for getting an A in this class. which i SO SO SO did not expect. for sure i won't get lower than a B. i'd have to almost fail the paper for that. so i'm happy.

maybe i'll actually pull straight A's. that would be fun.
