calm between storms...literally, probably

ok. i've wasted about two hours already, just computer stuff. still have to find directions to the warfield in san francisco from the san jose airport. but just a quick note to say, i'm home, i'm alive. i'm leaving tomorrow. i have done no xmas shopping and my gift exchange with friends is on monday, the day i get back from san francisco. what doesn't add up? Good shows, in order of goodness: Vegas, Tempe, San Diego. Bad shows, in order of badness: LA1, LA2. Met Dorena B. last night. In a crowd of over 6000, our seats were right next to eachother. Weird huh. Lost no money in vegas. Came back home with only 40 dollars less than i went with for the whole long weekend, SD to home...which means i must have actually made money at the slots...again, weird. My clothes will not be dry enough to pack for san francisco...damn my dislike for dryers. My dad said he'd pay for my gas for my trips, yay! I haven't gotten any grades back yet. And i'm getting antsy. I will have anything from a 3.0 to a 4.0 for this semester and that is a huge spread. I was hoping to get my cum. gpa up to a 3.0, but i don't think i can do that without the 4.0 this semester (regret about my first two fuckup years rears its head again). I am freezing my ass off. I have SO much to do. Up to and including knitting two scarved today for which i do not have enough yarn. Damn and blast. i should get to it. ack and the warfield crap too.

show reviews later, tho my memory is pretty damn spotty.

she was actually really polite. saying it was nice to meet me and all. so that was good. then went into all the fun she's had on tour, which was...informative. lots of partying and whatnot...sometimes i feel ultra straight edge or something...which, of course, i'm not. but i've got allergy issues...i could never be a party girl. i asked her about the beginning of the tour, because i'd heard it was better now than then, but she only went to the first two shows which were very good, and said so. it was just a weird coincidence, i thought. so i couldn't resist introducing myself.
