karenorhow is it that Highlander: The Source comes out on September 15 and I've not heard a damn word about it since i vaguely heard rumors that it was happening?
I just scrolled through a million posts of a random journal and found a link to screen caps. And oh lord it looks both pretty and crappy. Damn don't fuck with the mysterious mythology, please. Please?
Anyway, I imdb'd it and it's coming out in like three weeks. Shouldn't there be commercials or something? I mean, someone cares or they wouldn't have made the film. Right?
Highlander was like my first real fandom. Back in the wee days of the interwebs, I was digging up pictures of Peter Wingfield and being appalled by bad slash. I still don't really get the whole D/M ship. I know that makes me like, not a chick or something, but seriously they're like the leastest gay characters evar.
Anyhoo. I'll totally geek out and see this movie by myself. Or maybe with my brother. Highlander is one of the very very few things we have in common.
And really, it can't be worse than the last movie, can it? Can it? Endgame was pretty atrocious. *shivers*
just curious, does anyone on my flist have a CLUE what i'm blathering on about? Is there a Highlander fan amongst you, hiding?
