I don't think I can say a thing outside a spoiler cut, even my general reaction, so...

My general reaction? CONFUSION. From nearly the beginning. Starting with timey wimey River stuff. Because the last time WE saw River, it seemed pretty clear it was the FIRST time she'd seen Eleven. Which it wasn't because of this adventure. Which, okay, presumably time is being rewritten and is particularly wonky, but she KNEW about the Pandorica. I could understand if this event had never existed for her. Also, she seemed to know Amy here as well. Whatever, kinda minor...

More major, and more directly confusing instead of plain old wtfery... This whole scenario, created by the "alliance". Does it NOT take place on Earth in 120 (or was it 102) AD? Which would at least partially make sense for all those aliens being there. Because if it is really then... Can they all travel in time?

Who didn't know what was in the Pandorica would be the Doctor/TARDIS? I'm not spoiled at ALL (except for one possible thing which I'll get to, maybe, if I can say it without spoiling anyone else) and I figured it out straight away. I didn't think they'd put him in it, though. That was a nice twist, I guess. I expected it'd be another Doctor (not really, but Eleven from a different time), or the TARDIS itself (possibly with River in it?). Although River's line about the Doctor usually being the wizard was a nice deflection.

But anyway, back to being confused. Really, all these guys would get together to get rid of the Doctor? Call me silly, but couldn't they just... I dunno, SHOOT HIM? A lot? Seems a. a bit overkill to put him in that prison and b. not overkill enough, to get rid of their problem.

And finally, ish. The TARDIS is making the cracks? Is that what we're meant to understand? I rewatched that bit with him in the Pandorica and I still didn't get it. WHY? What? HUH? Makes no sense. Neither does Rory being an Auton if this was all constructed from Amy's memory. I mean, it makes sense that he'd be there, I guess, but not that he'd be there after dying and being sucked through the crack. Unless THAT (him being sucked through) was the beginning of the construction of this scenario. Which it wasn't. So... HUH????

Oh, and the spoiler I saw may not have been real. I'm pretty sure it wasn't, so I won't mention it, but it did have some bearing on this ep, until I figured out why it might not. Okay, I'm not making any sense now either.

I need a bit of pondering to wrap my head around this ep. It was exciting, to be sure. And once we knew EVERYTHING was coming back and there might be a reason for that, I wasn't terribly annoyed by that as I might otherwise have been. Guess I'll wait until the finale to give my opinion on it, though.

And finally, for real this time. I heart Rory. And I want more Vincent.
