7 and a 1/2

that's how many pages i have on my linguistics paper. that means it is officially half done. and i've already used about 2/3 of my allotted time for it. something about this ratio is not right.

i'm totally out of content now and am heavily engaged in stretching without quotes. this is of course extremely difficult. i'm not totally out of content, i still need to encorporate my classmates comments, but that is supposed to be a small section at the end of the paper, not the second half of it. so yeah, i'm a little screwed. all i have is today and tomorrow to work on it (and i guess some time on monday as its not due till 8pm).

despite this dire situation, i feel strangely compelled to take a nap. but its nearly 3pm, which is not a good time for a nap. i didn't get into bed till 2am last night, and i spent about 3 hours coughing, and then woke up at 9:30. so understandably, i'm a little out of it. i'm just kinda scared to lie down, as thats when the couging starts. maybe just a little nap...

my goal for day is 10 pages. i didn't reach yesterday's goal of 7. i didn't work on it at all after i posted yesterday. cuz my nephew came over. 2.5 pages left till goal today. we'll see.

update...

i have eked out nearly nine pages of my own original content. can i make six pages out of classmate suggestions? i probably couldn't and in any case, its still too much of that. so i kinda don't know what to do. i want to get out another page of this before tomorrow, but its sooooo hard. its stretched as far as it can go. i have to actually come up with more to say. a LOT more to say. ugh.
