WRONG: Jack fell down, and broke his crown.
RIGHT: Jack fell down, and experienced a bunch of angst.
speaking of which, i' working on my paper in creative writing studies. here's the prompt: "In an 8-10 page paper, explore the idea of author and/or authority in its relationship to text." could that BE anymore vague. ugh. i've been working on it for two straight days and have a whopping 3 sentences written. and two long quotes for future use. i'm in TROUBLE.
