I saw Memento yesterday. God is that movie a mindfuck. It's really hard in the beginning to catch on, and it's still really confusing to follow. It's an amazing feat tho...and i guess it kinda gives us a feel for the main character's confusion. has anybody seen this movie and care to discuss it? i was kinda wigged out by it.

and on a not even a little related subject, i sooo need a new buffy. it's time. sweeps are coming, and things better be good. if my classes go the way i want them, i will still have tuesday's free. not so much luck on wednesdays.

Someone who it would seem to me usually knows better and is very considerate posted major "potential" (if such and such with the network happens, such and such with the plot WILL happen, kind of potential) spoilers on the buffy @forum. i'm a bit peeved. well more than a bit. this is so not the season to be spoiled and it's coming at me from everyone. i know the date of the apppearence of a guest star that i shouldn't even know is appearing (tho i've known that forever) and i don't like it. grr.

so school in one week. we will see how THAT turns out. my hopes are high, but my expectations are low. i have no idea how flexible they are in class size for graduate courses. if i get less than three classes, i'm gonna have to find a job. three or four and i'll do school full time. it's gonna be weird. i guess we'll see...

I can try to discuss Memento with you...although it's been a while since I've seen it. Do you have the dvd? 'Cause it has some extras that shed some interesting light on things. Also, there's an easter egg on the dvd that allows you to watch the movie backwards (ie: forwards)...I've never tried that but it's intriguing! I love that movie. I bought the dvd having never seen it and was just totally wowed. It's based on a short story (that I think you can also find on the dvd--I don't have the patience to read things like that on a tv screen though).

Anyway.

I'm sorry about the spoilers on the forums. Honestly, that's the number one reason I had to leave (I could ignore the people I don't like on there most of the time). I won't join any Buffy communities on here for the same reasons.

i saw it on tv...showtime or starz or something. i wondered about seeing it forwards...cuz the whole thing is, that while the order of the scenes is irrelevant to the plot, it isn't to the story, and that's an intriguing feat. its just hard to keep track...

and i'm still not exactly sure what happeend with him and his wife and what's real...i might invest in the dvd when i get more money.

as for the forum...it isn't that people are inconsiderate (well some are) it's just what people consider spoilage. i'm extra sensitive, but i don't think it's TOO much to ask to put tags in even if one is unsure of whether or not the info could spoil someone.

Well then, the dvd won't help you much (as far as what is real and what isn't...)! Chris and I talked about it for days after we saw it and neither of us could figure it out for sure.

I know, I didn't think it was too much to ask for people to put tags in front of their posts...even for just potential spoilers. Hell, I don't even like to read people's guesses about what might happen next! So many people are right about that stuff, and usually it's not anything I would've thought of so I don't like to know! It's nice not being there any more. I get my fix talking about the eps with Lacy in her journal, and with Vik in the tv forum. That's good enough for me.
